Partner With Us
Work with DTA to advance our priority initiatives.
DTA’s Advocacy-Led Initiatives support advocates and organizations engaged in animal welfare and environmental campaigns and projects through advisory guidance and collaboration.
We help advocates identify problems, understand law and policy, and navigate bureaucracy. Our initiatives prioritize opportunities to address complex issues at the local level, inform broader efforts, and ensure that the interests of animals and their habitats are represented.
For projects we undertake together, DTA works with partners to develop a strategy suited to the issue and local circumstances. Our contribution may include a focused resource, such as a policy memorandum, support letter, or draft legislation, or a more sustained role in advocacy strategy and communications.
DTA undertakes work within its priority initiatives on a pro bono basis, supported by donations, grants, and other funding. We consider proposed collaborations based on their alignment with initiative priorities, potential impact, and available capacity.
Can we help advance an animal welfare or environmental cause in your community?
Tell us how the issue relates to one of our initiatives, what you hope to accomplish, and how you envision working with DTA.
For paid research, writing, policy, communications, or strategy support for a separate project, explore our Advocacy Services. If you are unsure which approach fits, submit an inquiry and we can discuss the options.
